My Senior Capstone Collection, titled "Rustic Country" was created prior to and during the global pandemic 2020. However, through adaptability and a plethora of adjustments, I was able to curate "Rustic Country." Rustic Country, as stated in the title, has a rustic theme, with a concept stating that in today's world, we are so busy, so much so, that we are never solely focused on the one task we are doing. You can be writing an email, yet thinking about who you need to call later and what's to make for dinner. With that being said, I want my collection to be intriguing so much so, that it is the only thing you are focused on at the moment. A key factor in making this concept succeed, is by providing an eye-catching-factor in each and every one of my pieces, allowing the audience to interact with and analyze the fabrics. Living in the moment isn't something we do now-a-days. Therefore, through Rustic Country, I hope to engage the audience and allow for some time to be in the moment.
