After Hurricanes Maria and Harvey hit Puerto Rico and Houston, TX, respectively, in 2017 we saw an outlandish difference in how the two disasters were handled by the US Federal government. This piece compares data such as death tolls, money awarded to survivors, and specific events between Maria and Harvey. Originally planned as a popup exhibition, this project eventually ended up living in a digital space.
