    About Project

Amplifier Dock is a tech accessory that takes a zero-waste approach to design through the use of found components, natural materials, and purposefully simple construction. The "dock" matches the dimensional width and radiused corners of the iPhone, and may be cut from a single plank of wood. A felt insert adhered to the upper component conforms to the interior curvature of the bowl, creating a snug non-permanent fit. With the addition of an ordinary bowl, the dock works to amplify the audible range of an iPhone's internal speaker. The project received honorable mention in the 2013 Core 77 Design Awards.
