I created a campaign to raise awareness against rape, using strong black and white photography and surprising statistics.
Although we all know rape is a serious problem, it is an avoided topic by victims, witnesses and perpetrators. My goal was to relate to the concept of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." Each statistic and photo used relate to one of those, exposing different aspects of this nationwide and worldwide problem.
I designed the poster so that the photos are ripped and attempted to be repaired with tape, like the mind and spirit of victims who are expected to endure their struggles like nothing happened. The tears and tape represent how things can't be put back together just as they used to be.
All photography used in this poster campaign was taken by me.
