This project was created after research was conducted on emergency relief processes. This project has to be easily assembled, delivered and functionable for people in disaster situations. The design also has the potential to be connected to create multiple units for different family sizes as well as entire community components. This design utilizes a simple aluminum framing structure that can be easily and inexpensively assembled. The materials used are lightweight as well as affordable to keep the cost down per structure. This design in particular utilizes the idea of folding furniture to adjust to the needs of the individual as well as sun shades to provide varying levels of privacy.
