Reveal Ridge 113th John Stewardson Fellowship

  • Unmasking a fragmented and hidden art community through a commerical corridor.

Their thriving and diverse arts community is hidden and veiled from the public eye, but desires a hub to expose their work. An axial shift of the historic streets disrupts the pattern of the city grid making it difficult to access and understand the thriving arts community concealed amongst the city bounded by the junction of three major urban corridors, Francisville is once again surfacing as a cultural district in Philadelphia. Ridge Avenue, Broad Street, and Fairmount Avenue have the capacity to expose the hidden arts culture in Francisville to each other and the entire city.
