• The Occupational Therapy project featured a collaboration between OT students and ID students. My Client had Multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision.
  • My client has always had a passion for cooking and she even helped her husband loose a great amount of weight doing it. Now with her disability she is having a harder time cutting vegetables when cooking. This design helps my client by being stable, guiding her hand, creating a less dangerous environment, holding the object in place for her, and helps in overall process considerably.
  • This Cutting board offers a magnetic 360 degree knfe holder. It allows the user to chop food with one hand and hold the food with their other hand. it also turns 360 degrees to allow multiple chops without having to move the food.
  • This channel and wall combonation allow the user to hold their food steady and cut down the same path every time. This helps cut the food and also protect the user by reducing the chance to cut themselves.
