Photography: 'Handcrafted Works of Ravenhill Mansion'

  • The final project for ‘Intro to Photography for Graphic Design’ at Philadelphia University has students selecting a single topic and compiling a photo book. The subject I chose was the university’s own Ravenhill Mansion, and specifically, its handcrafted works. The mansion, constructed in the late 1800s, includes handcrafted work throughout its exterior and interiors. Intricate wood carving, tiling, paneling, light fixtures, and carpeting were featured in this work with emphasis on correction of light and composition within frame. The final photo book was produced via Blurb as a physical final.
