Imprint is an imagined publishing company whose mission is to market classic literature to the adolescent girls of today. By combining hand done illustrations with photography, I designed compelling covers that would stand out in the Young Adult sections of bookstores - online or off. I developed an identity for Imprint that pays homage to the time period which the literature takes place in while still being fresh and modern. Accompanying the books is a website where readers could shop for books, posters, buttons, bookmarks and other Imprint merchandise, find where they can purchase the items in stores, learn more about Imprint's mission, and interact with each other and develop a community via a social section of the website called My Imprint. There also would be an interactive e-book app that displays explanatory information about what is being read, with opportunities to share on social media and to interact with My Imprint.
