This artist catalog is designed for local Philadelphia artist, Lily Yeh. The design from cover to end is a representation of Yeh's activist work and projects. I focused on the adjective "transformational" to help me organize the text and images in a way that would best showase not only her work and story but her mission. The cover is of a barren and run down wall with a die cut hinting at her act of transforming the later into colorful murals. The inside pages take you through a transformative world as one can see her process of taking neglected places into beautiful works of art. I used die cut again to give the reader an option to see through the "before" "sketch" and "after" stages of Yeh's creative process and to allow the reader to see through the different layers as well. The images within the spreads have been manipulated to make them "come alive" through each page which speaks of Yeh's work of bringing life into barren places.
