This collection was inspired by the correlations between nightlife and mental disorders. It raises awareness about mental health patients and the relationship to behavioral outcomes, while essentially breaking that restraint of society misunderstandings of those behaviors. Silhouettes are inspired by the restraints of straight-jackets and shapes of hospital garbs while adding masculine tailoring to challenge the lines of gender conformity as well. Trims are also directly related to straight jacket materials as well. A few fabric qualities include brushed canvas, denim, vinyl, brocade, and printed Ponte knits. Lastly, Color palette is sourced from the lighting in underground clubs, signs, a variety of illegal substances (liquid/solid) and the haziness of the lighting mixed with substance use is also captured in this collection.
