  • ASBURY PARK, NJ IS KNOWN FOR ITS RICH MUSIC AND ARTS HISTORY. THE CASINO BUILDING
HAD BEEN BUILT IN THE YEAR 1929 AND WAS A WELL KNOWN TOURIST ATTRACTION
DURING THIS TIME. IN THE 60S AND 70S ASBURY PARK HAD SUFFERED ALOT FROM CRIME AND
CORRUPTION BUT ITS MUSIC HISTORY, ESPECIALLY FROM BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, A RISING STAR
WHO GREW UP HERE, HAD HELPED REVIVE THE TOWN DURING THIS TIME.
