Hello there! My name is Michael, but you probably already know that. I’m originally from a large town on Long Island called Elmont. Finding exciting landscapes was like looking for a needle in a haystack, impossible. After finding enjoyment in design and the earth sciences in high school, I knew that I needed to pursue a degree that combined my two passions, that's when I found Landscape Architecture and its been a perfect match ever since. For the past four years, I have been gathering the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful in the industry. I have found my landscape design interests lie in urban design. I have also developed a interest on the idea of “Play” and intergenerational relationships. The concept of nature deficit disorder and how society experiences nature has stuck with me though all my designs. By creating attractive and inviting spaces, I believe as designers we can reconnect children and adults back to nature and the environment. Read Less
